Airshow 100 Champion 4yo Hurdle

This is the grade 1 race that takes centre stage today at the 2010 Punchestown Festival and as the title would suggest is just for those Hurdle horses aged four years. We are seeing the stars of the future here with potential Champion Hurdle runners of next year set to take their places in this one in 2010.

The race was won by Jumbo Rio last year with Mourad in behind him and both of those have gone onto compete in some big races this season so it is always a good form guide for next season. We are expecting to see some more stars of the future in this one so punters should be keeping a close eye on the 2010 Champion 4yo Hurdle. Carlito Brigante will go off as favourite for the race this afternoon but he faces a stiff test with Barizan on good form after an excellent performance at Cheltenham last month.
