The Champion Novice Chase 2010 - 20th April
Another cracking Grade One epic, this race will be one of the highlights of the whole Festival in 2010 and always attracts a lot of interest from punters and fans alike. This is another race on day 1 that always attracts a good field as those horse with big chasing dreams for the following year go head-to-head at 6.40pm this evening.
We are sure to see a high class field for this one once again to follow up a cracking race last year which was won by Rare Bob, he beat top class horse like Cooldine and Joncol who have both gone onto bigger things in 2010. This year looks like being another belter with Zaarito set to head the betting for Colm Murphy after some good runs this season. China Rock is another who goes into the race with chances after his decent run at Cheltenham last month, he came in 4th in the Jewson and must have chances at Punchestown on Tuesday. We like the look of China Rock to improve for that run at Cheltenham and he is our tip for the race this afternoon.
